Christmas Carols to be done selectively with SOP in Place

The general office of Olivet Assembly of South Asia has urged churches across the country to do Christmas Carols keeping in mind the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and to be mindful of the local SOP in place.

The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) are issued by the competent authorities locally and the general office urged all the churches to comply with the government guideline on this strictly without fail.

“However, the Christmas Carols may be carried out as per the context of the local church, if such permits are there,” it stated.

The good office wished all the churches in the region a joyful Christmas carols this year.

The General Office Wishes Merry Christmas to All

The general office of Olivet Assembly of South Asia has wished all the churches in the region to have a joyful Christmas, celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ with Peace, Love, Hope and Joy.

The good office wishes all the churches to celebrate the Christmas keeping in mind that the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is starting to spread once again and to follow all the protocols from the competent authorities.

“We wish you all (the churches) in the region to have a very graceful Christmas and we also strongly recommend you to follow the guidelines issued by the competent authorities,” it stated.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

“We wish that the blessings of the Almighty will be with you and your family so that you may have the Peace, Hope, Love and Joy this Christmas and beyond,” it concluded.

Easter Sunday 2022

Easter is the day Lord Jesus Resurrected gloriously, it is called Pascha in Aramaic, Greek and Latin.

It is the commemoration of the Lord’s resurrection and it is the hope of all believers that those who believe in Him will also resurrect on the last day like Him to be with God forever in Heaven.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. (John 11:25-26)

“For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.” (1 Corinthians 15:21)

All churches will celebrate this day with a worship service.

New Year 2022

All churches under Olivet Assembly of South Asia are hereby kindly informed to hold New Year services possibly in the morning of 1st January or 31st January midnight, dedicating the first day of the year 2022 to the Lord.

Good Friday 2022

Good Friday services are recommended to be held in the evening on Good Friday, which falls on 15th April in the year 2022.

All churches may hold the Holy Communion service along with this service.

Twice A Week Bible Studies for Youths Held Continuously

The Olivet Assembly of South Asia which works closely with inJesus Ministries, the outreach arm continuously hold online Bible studies continuously allowing Bible study participants from across South Asia.

The majority of learners are from India, but there were learners from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka as well, allowing youths of SAARC region to unite in one heart.

The Bible studies are done from both Old Testament as well as the New Testament allowing the learners to have deep understanding of each book of the Holy Bible.

The studies is another way of God opening the way to learn His words during pandemic.

Pentecost Sunday 2021
